Mas de Thau is a converted farmhouse estate in Languedoc, Occitanie, set among vineyards and within easy reach of the Mediterranean coast. It accepts children from three months with a genuinely impressive range of baby equipment included as standard, and a Kids Club staffed by qualified English-speaking nannies running daily through the season.

Evenings here are something special. The chef cooks fresh dinners using locally sourced, mostly organic produce, and each evening meal includes a bottle of wine of your choice. On Sunday evenings guests eat together outdoors while children are looked after until 9pm, and on Tuesday evenings in high season a local wine producer arrives with bottles to share under the Camarguaise hut. A welcome basket on arrival includes fresh bread, croissants, coffee, and enough to get through the first morning without rushing to a supermarket.
